Gioacchino Melice has been cutting hair for years — trained as a NYS licensed master barber. He opened Gio's to bring real barbershop culture back to Cortland. Not a chain. Not a salon that also cuts men's hair. A proper barbershop.
The hot towel shave is the signature here, and it's done the old way — straight razor, warm lather, no shortcuts. That same attention carries over to every cut that leaves the chair.
